Aontas, a national adult learning organisation, co-ordinates the festival each year.Residents are invited to Tallaght Library on Monday, March 6, from 10am to 12 noon, and to the Mill Shopping Centre in Clondalkin on Wednesday, March 8, from 10am to 12 noon.We provide a supervised, caring atmosphere Monday through Friday from -3pm for eligible seniors, while also providing respite and peace of mind for caregivers.Participants receive individual and group attention in a structured setting.Our program of activities and exercise builds confidence and self-esteem while providing fun and socialization for our clients.For more information please call Colleen Normandy, LSW at This cost-effective program (for local area residents) allows the caregiver much needed personal time for themselves, out of the house, getting a break, while the Client receives supervision through activities, a light meal (if needed) and companionship.By Shannon Galloway FREE adult courses are available in Tallaght and Clondalkin this week, as part of the Aontas Adult Learning Festival 2017 (March 6-10).

The food is prepared and cooked at the Senior Center and served cafeteria style in our bright and sunny dining hall. The 1000 square foot space holds commercial grade cardio equipment including treadmills, total body recumbent and elliptical machines.

EASTCONN promotes and supports lifelong learning for parents, workers and citizens of northeastern Connecticut.

Whether it’s high school completion, job training, or parenting support, our Adult Programs are designed to develop interests, increase abilities and expand options.
