Download speed is mainly/average of 6.2KB a second. I'm just going to play with bots in the game so no need for the internet.
But the main question is how to stop/cancel the massive update?
To ensure it will work properly, you should perform a series of steps while online.
If you don’t, Steam is supposed to prompt you for offline mode – but this doesn’t always work properly.
If the problem still persists, perhaps you should temporarily uninstall your antivirus or switch to a different security software.
If adding Steam to list of exceptions doesn’t work, disable your antivirus and try running Steam again.
The update will also allow users to set times for automatic updates.
Hi,just today, I was going to play Team Fortress 2,but suddenly a 3GB update came, and I have slow internet for the next 2 weeks.
I hate having to update the app just to get to pick the game I want to play. This app just pushed me over the edge if I got to use your ! Sometimes the updates happen while you are in another game and don't really realize why you are suddenly lagged out.
I don't play Diablo3 but once in a blue moon and I don't want it automatically updating.
