There are many forms of samba including American style samba, Brazilian samba.
Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko began dancing together in the fall of 2007, taking the ballroom world by storm and captivating audiences with their unique Latin style.
They ascended to the finals of every major world championship as they took their first steps together onto the dance floor.
Riccardo and Yulia's mesmerizing look, incredible technical aptitude, and vivacious dynamism quickly made them a favorite among both fans and judges alike.
At the World Professional Latin Championships held in Bonn, Germany on November 20, 2010, Dance Sport felt the impact of Riccardo and Yulia's hard work and growth when they took home their first World Professional Latin title.
The pairing of Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoryuchenko has caused much excitement in the United States, and indeed all over the world.
They have a great work ethic with strong opinions on the direction they want their dancing to go. A town called Belgorod, which is right on the boarder of the Ukraine.
Riccardo had a romantic relationship with Shirley Ballas, but that ended this year.
Yulia also broke with her ex-partner and long-time fiancé, Maxim Kozhevnikov. Their new coach is Donnie Burns, who is also the head of the WDC (World Dance Council).
She resides in San Diego, California where she is working on a linked stories novel and translating a book of poems by Eugenio Montale titled Xenia, while looking for a publisher for her book of poems, Fire In Rain.
